Will OnePlus disappear from India? Many products delisted; Know the reason

OnePlus Removes TV Monitor Categories: Is OnePlus really preparing to leave India? There are many indications regarding this in some reports. This is because the company is continuously delisting many products from the website. Last year there was news that Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has stopped the production of smart TVs in India.

Now the company has also stopped the sale of smart TVs and monitors in the country. OnePlus has completely removed the TVs and displays section from its Indian website. However, some OnePlus smart TVs are still available for purchase on e-commerce website Amazon.in.

The company is no longer launching smart TVs

OnePlus entered the smart TV market in India in 2019. OnePlus TV Q1 was the company’s first smart TV. The company has also stopped launching smart TVs in the country since last year. With this, OnePlus may also soon exit the monitor market in the country. The Chinese smartphone maker has also removed the monitor listing from its website.

No official statement has come

For information, let us tell you that the company had launched two monitors in the country in December 2022. OnePlus has not launched any new monitor since then. The company has not yet issued any official statement regarding its exit from the TV and display segment in India.

Is this the reason?

Some say that OnePlus is on the radar of the Central Government these days because the company was accused of financial fraud in India some time ago. On the other hand, ED had also claimed that the company was wrongly transferring money outside India. Not only this, the company has also been accused of tax evasion. This is also a reason why the government is keeping an eye on the Chinese company and the company also knows this very well.
