In a recent interview with the BBC, the Australian actor discussed how his time spent portraying a Marvel character has actually made a mark on his subsequent acting roles.

Because of Wolverine, I’ve done a little bit of injury to my voice. My falsetto is not as powerful as it used to be, and I have no doubt that this is directly attributable to the amount of growling and screaming that I do.
