Honda made a big announcement about EV:

Honda will build its electric scooters on a brand-new platform that was made just for electric vehicles.
It has been given the codename “Platform-E” by the company.
On this platform, many different models will be built, each with its own battery pack and way of being put together.The company will put its first electric two-wheeler on the market between April 2023 and March 2024, which is the financial year 24.It will be an electric car with a “mid-range” range and a fixed battery.Even though it’s hard to say much about its price right now, it’s thought that it will be cheaper and have a longer driving range when it hits the market.
The company hasn’t said what the name of its electric scooter will be yet, but it’s very likely that the first model will be called the Activa Electric. Honda recently filed a patent, which could be for some of the parts that will be used in this e-scooter.

Swappable Battery Technology:
At the same time, the company will show off a second model with a battery pack that can be switched out. But before that, the company will set up places across the country where people can swap out their batteries. Concerning the charging infrastructure, the company says it plans to set up battery-swapping stations at its 6,000 or more touchpoints across the country. Not only that, but some of these will eventually be turned into Workshop “E.”Electric vehicles will still be able to get charging cables from these special shops.
Scooters will be made in ‘E-factory’:
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India is building a plant in Nalasupara, Karnataka, that will only make electric cars. It’s called Factory-E, and it’s where the company will make its new electric cars .In this building, high-tech equipment and tools will be used. People say that by 2030, this plant will be able to make one million electric vehicles.
