Andrew Tate is being held in a Romanian prison because he and three other people are suspected of starting “an organized crime group with the goal of recruiting, housing, and exploiting women by forcing them to make pornographic content that would be seen on specialized websites for a fee.” Tate has been given the chance to talk to his fans. In his first letter since being arrested, he complained about things like cockroaches and not having enough natural light.
The former kickboxer and social media influencer has been held along with his brother Tristan and two other Romanians. The rape and sex trafficking claims are being looked into to see if Tate had anything to do with them. According to BBC, the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism said in a statement that officers had found six people who had been hurt by what it called “an organized criminal group.” The survivors were “hired” by lying about who they were, and then they were threatened and forced to act in pornographic films.
LadBible said that in a letter to his fans, Tate talked about the “daily lessons” he has learned from his unfair imprisonment. He is said to have said that he was “thrown into a dark cell” and that the prison staff was “trying to break” him by putting him in such a wrong place. The inmate also claimed that his cell was infested with cockroaches, lice, and bedbugs.
Tate also said that he had helped the police in every way and that, “When the guards take me to and from the courtroom, I’m always polite.” He said the government was trying to “put hate in my heart” and asked his fans to stand by him during this time.
“Our prison guards are just doing their jobs. In hard times, they have to feed their families. Do not forget your manners… They are trying to break my Iron Mind by putting me in jail without a good reason. My act of absolute rebellion is to respect everyone around me completely.”They’ll be unable to harm me,” he wrote. He also sent out a tweet asking fans to send him emails as soon as he could.
Tate’s comments about the state of his prison cell don’t come as a shock, since Romanian prison cells are known for being dirty. It has also come out that the prisoners must stay in their cells all the time, except for the one hour a day when they can go outside for “recreation.”
