Reports say that the publisher of National Enquirer magazine paid McDougall about $150,000 (Indian Rupees 1,23,27,112.50) to buy her story about the supposed affair. This case makes it more likely that Trump will face more charges.
The situation is similar to the Stormy Daniels case, in which Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen paid her $130,000 (Indian Rupees 1,06,83,497.50) to keep her from talking about her sexual relationship with the former president.
